Head to the Global Food Market

If you want a true taste of Logan’s multiculturalism, head to the Global Food Market for a taste of seasonal produce you won’t find in your local supermarket, including dragonfruit, jackfruit, custard apples, lychees, rambutan, mangosteen and more.

It’s also a great place to get yourself a delicious breakfast from a range of cuisines, including South-East Asian, Indian, African, Pacific Islands, and the Middle East.

Go go-karting

Queensland’s biggest and best go-karting venue Kingston Park Raceway has been entertaining Logan families forever, and is still going strong. KPR has over 100 go karts and three outdoor tracks to test your skills – whether you’re a rookie kid or a grand prix master! All ages and abilities are welcome.

Pick your own strawberries

Got a strawberry lover in your house? Pick your own strawberries at Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm! Visit the working strawberry farm and pick your own strawberries while they’re in season, or visit the shop for strawberry products and enjoy a fresh strawberry ice cream. Yum!

If you’re an action-loving family, Visit Bayside Wake Park to try your hand at wakeboarding and water skiing. It’s an action-packed and fun experience for the whole family, from first timers to experienced riders. Or sit by the water’s edge and watch those dare devils chance it out there on the water.

Step back in time

Beenleigh Historical Village is a treasure trove of early Australian memorabilia, collections of items and even buildings that have been lovingly preserved and restored. The heritage buildings are filled with original items used by those who lived back as far as the 1860s.

Highlights include the old St George Anglican churck, the Beenleigh Council Chambers, Willkie’s General Store, the old Dodge fire engines, family homes, the Loganholme one-teacher school, and the old post office.

Visit koalas

At Daisy Hill Koala Centre you can visit koalas in a natural outdoor setting and discover more about the secret life of koalas. With two viewing levels, you’re sure to see koalas (but you can’t cuddle them here). Admission is free so this is a great day out with the kids that will cost you nothing.
