Aquatopia Opening Date for Summer 2024

Aquatopia
There are loads of attractions at Sydney's favourite water park.

Aquatopia at Fairfield Leisure Centre will officially open for the spring/summer 2023-2024 season on 23 September 2023.

It's essential to check the website before visiting as the water park may close early on days of inclement weather.

What's New at Aquatopia

Aquatopia has a huge range of attractions and facilities that will thrill people of all ages. Including 20-metre and 10-metre high giant slides, the adventure aqua tower with 79 unique and amazing elements, a toddlers' pool, a Wave Rider, the Fishpipe and the new Rocket Drop Slide!

The awesome slide tower features a three-Lane Racing Ride, perfect for challenging your friends, plus a high-speed free-fall slide and the Rocket Drop Slide, which will drop brave riders via a trap door to a fast loop through a transparent tube that will circle the free-fall slide on its way down. Perhaps you should do this one before lunch...

The Outdoor Wave Pool

$12 million has been splashed out on Aquatopia's new 55-metre outdoor wave pool, which opened in 2021. The custom-designed wave pool has two custom-built fans and a three-way valve system to increase the height of the surfable waves.

Every day is a beach day at the new outdoor wave pool that also features a peninsula so riders can surf or boogie board on a variety of waves every three seconds - cool!

Cabanas, barbecues, umbrellas, amenities and change rooms, plus a multi-function all-weather covered area with a stage and cinema screen for parties, ceremonies and moonlight shows are also part of the new attraction.

And what about swim safety, you ask? Lifeguards will of course be on duty, and the wave pool will have underwater cameras to assist in water safety. For those who can't yet surf but want to learn, learn-to-surf lessons are said to be introduced at the water park.

The Proof is in the Splashing
