Three Parks, One Pass, Thousands of Animals
Australian Wildlife Parks boasts the country's largest private collection of animals and offers unique, intimate opportunities to engage with them.
‘We are so excited to offer all people living in, and visiting, NSW incredible value with our new Australian Wildlife Parks annual pass – so they can see, hand feed and engage with more animals, and importantly have positive up-close interactions with the amazing wildlife.’ Managing Director of Australian Wildlife Parks, Chad Staples, said.
‘We always put our animals first, and our new annual pass allows families and animal lovers to chance to see more animals across NSW in 2022.’
Hunter Valley Wildlife Park
For well over a decade, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has been a premier attraction in NSW's renowned wine country. The zoo has expanded from an exclusively native collection to now be home to a host of exotic mammals, primates, birds and reptiles from across the globe including American alligators, white lions, wolves, meerkats and capybaras.
Hunter Valley Wildlife Park will also continue Australian Wildlife Parks' fervent tradition of getting animal lovers up close and personal to your favourite furry friends with their amazing animal encounters! Wander through their interactive walk-through yards where you can face your fears and touch a reptile or watch as the family of monkeys get fed. You can also purchase animal food for your own feeding experience with farmyard animals, kangaroos and birds.
Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has commenced three new encounters since its reopening:
- Lion Encounter – 9:30 am DAILY
- Maned Wolf Encounter – 10:00 am DAILY
- Capybara Encounter – 10:30 am DAILY

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park
Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is a western Sydney landmark that is home to the world’s largest collection of Australian wildlife including the largest collection of koalas in New South Wales.
Dedicated exclusively to native animals, there are over 2,000 iconic creatures to meet including roaming kangaroos and wallabies, dingoes, echidnas, wombats, bilbies, and Tasmanian devils. There is also a Reptilian Pavilion and a stunning array of birdlife to explore.
With all this fauna flourishing in a relaxed, natural habitat, children can spend hours meandering down the pathways, exploring the beautiful environment and engaging with friendly wildlife. There are cute and colourful critters at every turn to interact with, and lots of fascinating facts to learn along the way.
Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is also the place to go for extraordinary up-close encounters. Few animal sanctuaries offer exciting, intimate experiences the way Featherdale does, where you have the chance to hold and touch some of their adorable animals. You can make new furry friends in the Koala Sanctuary (currently FREE with park admission), feed little penguins in the walk-in enclosures, snap a selfie with a quokka or meet Max, the 2.6-metre saltwater crocodile.
Mogo Wildlife Park
Mogo Wildlife Park is an unmissable attraction on the beautiful NSW South Coast - perfect for a school holiday day trip or weekend away. The animal sanctuary houses Australia's largest collection of endangered and exotic species from across the globe.
Giraffes, zebras and rhinos roam the Savannah plains and tamarins, lemurs and monkeys run amok on Primate island. There is also a cat colony including African lions, cheetahs and snow leopards.
Kids will love coming face to face with some of the world’s most impressive animals with a range of diverse habitats across the expansive woodland setting. Mogo Wildlife Park also offers amazing, intimate Up Close & Personal Experiences where you can play with meerkats, feed a red panda, sit with squirrel monkeys or even take a cruise around Primate Island aboard a keeper boat.
Where Mogo really hits it out of the park is with their camping adventures! You can share the home of these exotic creatures and stay under the stars with an all-inclusive overnight experience including a campfire at night, breakfast with the Sumatran tigers and a giraffe encounter.
