Situated overlooking the beach, Novotel Wollongong Northbeach is well-loved among locals and visitors alike—and the addition of a whopping four new unique bars and eateries has really cemented it as a popular dining hub in the region for families.

Palisade Kitchen & Bar

This luxurious seafood-centric restaurant, formerly known as the adored local favourite, “Windjammers”, has undergone an extensive multimillion-dollar makeover. Oozing an elegant coastal vibe, this newly transformed restaurant is a premium must-see dining destination in the Illawarra region.

Alongside the fresh, local seafood and offerings, a new breakfast concept has been launched taking into consideration the focus on fresh, healthy dishes. Poke bowls, breakfast burrito bowls, cold-pressed juices and a fully loaded breakfast burger! The team at Palisade also recently launched a self-service buffet (and everyone knows, we love a buffet.) Drool! 

Adrift Pool Bar

Having undergone a full refurbishment and re-brand, Adrift Pool Bar offers a taste of European luxury to the shores of Wollongong!

The intimate tropical oasis provides the ultimate stay-cation holiday experience for in-house guests with a sun-drenched pool, palm trees, dedicated daiquiri bar and a seafood-focused pool-side dining menu. Just another reason for a Novotel Wollongong Northbeach staycation, then?!

The Frisky Flamingo

The Frisky Flamingo, Wollongong’s first American-style, late-night sports lounge has recently opened its doors inside the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach. This game-changing new venue is the mastery of all things sport boasting the largest indoor media screen in the southern hemisphere, and an American-style menu with a beachfront location.

Not stopping at beer towers, fishbowls and top-notch beers, the winning American-inspired menu features all-time classics such as southern fried chicken, loaded fries and pressed pull pork toasties—basically, it’s the perfect spot for a feast (and entry is strictly for those 18 and over. Sorry kids!). 

North Bar

One for an adults-only date night, North Bar showcases an extensive wine list with over 80 bottles and 50 varietals to choose from, a carefully curated menu, an innovative cocktail selection and a team of specialist staff to ensure every minute of your experience is unforgettable!
