When are the Paris Olympics?
The 2024 Olympics run from 26 July to 11 August, followed by the Paralympics from 22 August to 11 September.
What time is the Olympics Opening Ceremony?
Set your alarms! The Olympic Opening Ceremony is on 26 July 2024 (that's 27 July for Australia) and is the first-ever Olympic Opening Ceremony to be hosted outside a stadium (lucky it's summer in Paris!). If you're tuning in from Australia, prepare for an early start. The ceremony will stream in Australia on 27 July at the following times:
2.24 am in WA
3.54 am in SA and NT
4.24 am in Qld, NSW, Vic, Tas, and ACT.

If it's too chilly to leave the house (we don't blame you!), you can catch all your favourite teams competing for gold for free on Channel 9 or with a subscription to Stan Sport.

1. Tumbalong Park

This year, Darling Harbour are pulling out all the stops to host a live Olympics broadcast at Tumbalong Park's Sound Shell from 27 July to 11 August (Olympics) and 28 August to 8 September (Paralympics).
Fans can catch all the games live and for free, plus, join in on a host of sports-themed activities and games, enjoy yummy food and drinks from local vendors, experience live performances and cultural displays, plus loads more family-friendly entertainment.

2. Coogee Bay Hotel

4. Blacktown Civic Plaza
If late nights aren't for you, you can catch all the Olympics replays at Blacktown Civic Plaza.
Blacktown Civic Plaza will be transformed into a live Olympics site, so grab a seat at one of the nearby cafes and keep up with your favourite team on the big screen from 9 am to 9 pm each day.

5. Club Marconi
If you're looking for live Olympic sites in the west, head to Club Marconi in Bossley Park for Olympic action.
The vibes are set to be "Live and loud at Club Marconi" from 26 July to 12 August so make sure you stop by.

6. Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre
Swimming fans can watch the swimming finals from our very own Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre will host the men's and women's swimming finals live from Paris from 28 July to 4 August. Viewers will also be able to snap a selfie at the famous Sydney 2000 Olympic podium and mascots, plus, enjoy tasty treats from the Bridge Café.

7. Matildas Live Olympic Screenings at Sydney Opera House
Imagine watching the Tillies take home gold at the Paris Olympics from the famous Sydney Opera House! Well, imagine no more - the Sydney Opera House will host two special match screenings of the Matildas live from the Olympic Games in Paris!
Set your alarm for this momentous occasion on 29 July and 1 August as the Mighty Matildas take on Zambia and the United States from 3 am Sydney time.
