Egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunts in Sydney 2024

Have you even celebrated Easter if you don't partake in a massive Easter egg hunt in Sydney?!

1. Sydney Family Show Easter Basket Scramble

For some fast-paced scrambling, the Easter Basket Scramble at the Sydney Family Show promises laughs and treats for the little ones!

The price includes the Easter egg basket, chocolate eggs and toys, and kids will collect treats from the egg stations located within the show ring. On your marks, get set, go!

2. Easter Egg-stravaganza at Q Station

On Easter Saturday, Q Station will be hosting an Easter Egg-stravaganza!

Don't miss out on Manly's biggest Easter Egg Hunt and a range of fun-filled activities for the whole family. Kids will delight in finding hidden eggs around the Glasshouse lawns before sitting down to some arts and crafts, creating bunny hats, having a play on the jumping castle, and being well and truly entertained by a live performer! Oh, and there will also be face painting for the kids. Race you there!

3. Fairfield Easter Fair

The Fairfield Easter Fair is back at Fairfield Showground in 2024 as well as the mega Fairfield Easter Egg Hunt!

As one of the top Easter egg hunts in Sydney on the calendar, the Fairfield Easter Egg Hunt is a pretty big deal so don't miss out. The hunt will be running every day of the fair and includes loads of yummy chocolates, a visit with the Easter bunny, and adorable Easter bunny ears to collect!

4. Egg Hunt at Golden Ridge Animal Farm

What could be more adorable than searching for eggs amidst cute and cuddly farm animals?!

Golden Ridge Animal Farm's annual Easter Egg Hunt is back this year with plastic eggs hidden throughout the farm that are swapped for real chocolate eggs at the end of the hunt - find as many as you can!

Cost:        Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Adults are $32.50 each and Children are $37.50 each

5. Easter Egg Hunts at Broadway Sydney

An egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt will take over Broadway Sydney for a whole weekend this March! Take your little ones on an adventure through the centre to discover delicious, hidden treasures in storefronts, behind kiosks and tucked in every nook and cranny across Level 3. Sessions commence every 15 minutes and bookings are essential.

The Easter Bunny will also be hopping his way through Broadway Sydney throughout the weekend with Alice in Wonderland for a special meet-and-greet experience.

6. The Hills Easter Show

7. Easter Egg Hunt at The Grounds

 

The Grounds hosts an exciting Easter Egg Hunt in the Alexandria Garden, with Max & Boon mini chocolate eggs hidden for children to find. A delightful event for children aged 12 years and younger. Booking essential!

8. Easter Egg-stravaganza at Stanton Library

Prepare for an evening filled with bunny fun alongside Children's Librarians at Stanton Library North Sydney. 

This Easter celebration will feature songs, stories, and plenty of joy for everyone. Remember to grab your picnic blankets and snacks, plus your favourite dress-ups if you want to come in theme. 

Oh, and let's not forget about the egg hunt – it's going to be eggstra special! This event is free but tickets are required.

9. Cumberland Council's Egg Hunts at Central Gardens

Cumberland Council is thrilled to host not one, not two, but three FREE Easter Egg Hunts for children aged 12 years and younger at the Central Gardens Nature Reserve! Join in for a hopping good time searching for Easter goodies scattered throughout the park. These egg-citing hunts will last for up to 30 minutes each, starting promptly at 10:30 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm.

10. East Village Egg Hunt

11. Glenworth Valley's Giant Easter Egg Hunt

If you're going to be out and about on the Central Coast this Easter, check out Glenworth Valley's Giant Easter Egg Hunt. 

The team at Glenworth Valley will be hiding 25,000 chocolate eggs in their stunning grounds for hungry and excited kids to find. Plenty of Easter activities will be on the agenda plus the Easter Bunny himself will be in attendance!

13. Easter Sunday at Jamberoo Action Park

 

Sammy the Shark and the Easter Bunny are getting the chocolate eggs ready and will be waiting at the gates of Jamberoo Action Park on Easter Sunday morning ready to welcome everyone to the park and take some photos!

Since the pandemic, the day will be a bit different from previous seasons as they no longer do their traditional Giant Easter Egg Hunt, however, to make sure everyone still has loads of fun and plenty of chocolate, they will be providing all children 4-12 years with a specially prepared bag of Easter Eggs when they enter the park.
