For a full kid-holiday wonderland, Big4 Bellarine is a great choice. It is consistently one of the top spots families go to for laid-back vacations with just about everything you could want in one place.

You're sure to find a fabulous spot amongst the 250 sites across Anglesea Family Caravan Park, which is conveniently situatied close to both the beachfront along the Great Ocean Road and the Anglesea river. 

A simple, stripped-back spot with a focus on the natural environment, it's a great place to have a bit of a de-stress while the kids roam, explore, play mini golf, splash in the pool, bounce on the jumping pillow, or play in the indoor and outdoor children's areas and games room.

4. BIG4 Inverloch Holiday Park

With a water splash play area like this, where else would you want to spend those hot summer holidays? Big4 Inverloch has plenty to keep everyone entertained over those long weeks, with indoor and outdoor fully equpped playgrounds, full-sized tennis court, and TV, table tennis and air hockey in the guest lounge.

For the adventure-seekers, there's also windsurfing, swimming in the inlet, walking tracks, and fishing, or why not get to know your fellow travellers with regular wine tastings and trivia nights?

5. Apollo Bay Pisces Holiday Park

Stay directly across from Apollo Bay's main beach in one of the AAA 4 Star Ocean Villas (which have 3 bedrooms), Ocean Spa, Spa, Deluxe, or Ensuine cabins at the BIG4 Pisces Holiday park, or one of the powered or unpowered caravan sites and soak up the ocean views. 

The fantastic location means the entirety of the Great Ocean Road and all its attractions are right on your doorstep, and you can construct your family holiday as you choose. Want action and adventure? Head up to Otway Park Trees Adventure or Fly Treetop Adventure, go on a scenic flight, learn to surf, or hike a waterfall. Want to chill and laze away the days at the beach? Why not potter over to the Cape Otway Lighthouse, which was the second one ever installed on mainland Australia, or go whale watching or fishing nearby. 

If you're keen to stay onsite, there's plenty to do: dip in the solar heated pool, chill out in the TV lounge or games room, run around on the adventure playground, tear around the pump track on your (BYO) bike, or get stuck into the school holiday activities put on each season.
