Get Something To Eat

Food-wise, you have three options: the beautiful Studley Park Boathouse Restaurant for contemporary fine dining, a more relaxed experience at the Boathouse Cafe, or grab a quick option from the kiosk as you look out over the mighty Yarra River. Kiosk options run from filled baguettes and focaccias to pies slices, cakes, and freshly baked muffins. Yum!

The award-winning Boulevard Restaurant is situated in the Yarra Bend Park, and is open for breakfast and lunch. Fill up on smoothies, granola, smashed avocado, crispy fried calamari, chips, desserts, and a kids' menu which should keep everyone happy! Enough to work up an appetite and...

Head Out On The Water

Plenty of hire options for gliding out over the waterway, with rowboats, canoes and kayaks on offer from Studley Park Boathouse, Melbourne's oldest operating boathouse.

If you prefer to sit on the banks, why not try a spot of fly-fishing at the international fly-casting pool in the northern section of the park?

Have A Barbecue Or Picnic

The picnic area at Studley Park has two picnic shelters with several picnic tables, and two barbecues with plenty of lawn area to set up a blanket and a basket for the day. While away the afternoon among some of the most beautiful bushland in the city.

Yarra Bend Park is home to The Loop Picnic Area, with picnic shelters, tables, and a rotunda.

Go For A Walk

There are a few bushwalking tracks of various levels of difficulty in the area.

The 850-metre loop Bushland Circuit Trail begins on the Studley Park picnic area side of the river at Kane’s Bridge, and is accessible for most strollers and wheelchairs as well as having plenty of rest stops and bench seats along the way.

Kane's Bridge extends across the Yarra, and is made up of sealed paths leading to the pedestrian bridge across the Yarra River from both ends. The path on the opposite side of the Studley Park picnic area has a gradient of approximately 1:12 and leads to a car park. The bridge itself has timber decking with 2cm gaps across it, which isn't as accessible for prams or strollers.
