Alongside the thrills and fun that awaits your family at Jamberoo Action Park this summer, there's a whole lot more going on besides just the rides.

NSW's largest family owned and operated water theme park will be open throughout the summer season until the end of April between 10 am and 5 pm and it’s the ultimate destination for family fun in the South-coast region!

Here’s what to check out on your next visit to this family-friendly tourist attraction, located an hour south of Sydney.

Blockbuster Dive-In Movies

After a day spent thrill-seeking on rides and exploring the landscaped gardens and parklands of Jamberoo Action Park, what better way to chill out than with a movie?

On Saturday nights from 6pm throughout the summer holidays, the whole family will love relaxing on a sun lounger or floating about in a tube at Outback Bay, whilst watching a kids movie on the big screen. Dive-in movies are free on the day of entry admission paid*—meaning there’s no excuse to not make the fun last into the evening! Bombora Scoop Ice-creamery and snack bar and Bombora Seafood will be onsite serving everything from popcorn and choc-tops to hot meals and icy cold drinks. All that’ll be left to do when you get your young’uns home is a quick bath then bed! (*Movies are also one of the benefits for Season Pass and Summer Fun Pass holders).

Dry Land Activities

Stay dry by partaking in some of the on-land activities at Jamberoo. There’s an entertaining, 18-hole mini-golf course that provides the perfect opportunity for some competitive family fun! If you’re more into heights, however, you can soar 500 metres up the mountain on Jamberoo’s very own chairlift and experience the breathtaking panorama of mountains to the sea. If you want to go fast though, you’ll love the bobsled—two tracks nearly 1 km each in length snake down the mountain where riders can reach high speeds and drink in incredible scenic views!

The Rides

Although we admitted that it isn't all about the rides, Jamberoo’s offering promises unrivalled fun and thrills for the whole family. Kids will love stepping into the unknown on The Perfect Storm, Funnel Web and The Taipan—the tummy-turning trilogy of tube rides that see drops and darkness combine to create an incredible, fun-filled experience that adrenaline-loving kids will adore.

The Facilities

If you needed even more of an excuse to visit Jamberoo—know that the rest of the facilities are just as good as the rides. There's the opportunity for souvenir photos of your ride on The Taipan, food and coffee shops plus retail stores and free parking. From December 26th to January 31st there’s also a Summer Fun Bus operating daily between Jamberoo and Kiama Train Station—perfect for families who want to leave their car at home!
