Funtopia Carrum Downs is a unique indoor adventure park concept with adventurous, entertaining, and healthy activities for all ages, all under one roof, not to mention it is officially the biggest indoor playground in Melbourne AND in Australia!

The custom-designed centre pays homage to Australia’s great landmarks and icons with Australian attractions and monuments. Visitors of all ages can ascend the Sydney Harbour Bridge, explore the Great Barrier Reef, and marvel at the enormous Eureka Tower. Kids and parents can take a tour through the sights of Australia on the signature Car Track that weaves through the playground arena, tolls, traffic and all. 

What's on Offer at Funtopia Carrum Downs

There are three awesome indoor facilities on offer for rambunctious kids.

Climbing World is for serious climbers keen to scale to new heights. Please note that Climbing World is only available for kids aged five and up who can test out their strengths as they scale imitation burning buildings, make their way through the labyrinth or be like Jack and climb the monstrous beanstalk!

Playground World is ideally suited for ages one and over and takes mini adventurers on some serious adventures through the Australian-themed play space that has plenty to explore, including:

• Sydney Harbour Bridge, Great Barrier Reef and Outback Adventure
• Speed slides, drop slides and four challenge race slides
• Adventure obstacles and interactive games
• Interactive playrooms
• Beginner climbing walls and more.

Children aged three and under are invited into Toddler World where every day is imaginative play central! Toddler World is seriously a world just for toddlers, with imaginative play spaces, soft play areas, mini volcanoes with slides, obstacle courses, ball pits and more.

And what about the parents?! Mr Spriggins Café is on site for parents keen for a caffeine dose and a bite to eat.

Pricing & Opening Hours

Funtopia Carrum Downs is open Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm and on weekends from 9 am to 6 pm.

There are a range of pricing options on offer for kids who want to bounce off the walls for a few hours! 

Playground World & Toddler World Prices: From Monday to Friday during the school term, Funtopia offers all-day, unlimited play for $10 for ages 1-2, and $16 for ages 3+. Kids under 1 and parents and carers go FREE. On weekends, play is $10 for 0 to 2 years, $16 for ages 3+ and FREE for parents and carers.

Climbing World Prices: For children over the age of five, you can choose from the $29.95 Climb & Play Pass or the $19.50 Climb Only Pass. Climb Only offers unlimited play for up to 1 hour with a 15-minute safety briefing, while the Climb & Play Pass also gives you two hours of play in Playround World.
