Pretty Little Ballerinas offers delightful ballet and jazz classes for children from the age of 2 years through to 12 years in their studios in the Eastern Suburbs and Inner City and Newcastle - Cooks Hills 

Pretty Little Ballerinas follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and also offers RAD exams with an average result of Distinction.

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of dance through Pretty Little Ballerinas as they provide fun yet structured classes. The class atmosphere is joyful with an emphasis on good manners, developing listening skills, understanding and maintaining good posture, and rhythm and musicality to improve co-ordination. PLB believes children learn best through imagery and story telling.

Pretty Little Ballerinas Class Options

2-3 years Ballet: This fun-filled 30 minute ballet class is for 2-3 years to dance along with their mum or dad in a fun, safe, caring environment. Each lesson they go on a magical journey with the use of storytelling, ballet based exercises and fun props to help stimulate imagination. As a parent, you will be able to see your child progress each week as they develop rhythm, balance and coordination while improving your child’s self-confidence.

3-4 years Ballet: Ballerina dancers learn the basics of classical ballet in a relaxed, non-stressed, comfortable environment. These 40 minute ballet classes are designed to help develop musicality, poise and to excite and inspire young minds and bodies.

4-5 years Ballet: These pre-school age classes focus on simple ballet positions, technique, musicality and the joys of ballet. By this age ballerinas will be learning to follow more detailed directions in a fun, light-hearted, nurturing environment.

Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus: Ages 5-12 (Pre-primary –  Grade 5 Ballet). Pretty Little Ballerinas follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and also offers RAD exams, with an average result of Distinction. These enjoyable 60 -75 minute classes encourage correct posture, alignment, strength, control and flexibility.

Jazz: Ages 4-8. This 45 minute class is for those who love to move, groove and sing! This fun introductory class will focus on basic jazz and hip hop techniques, co-ordination and flexibility.
