Buy an ‘Empty Plate’ at Sydney Restaurants To Support The Farmers

This summer, Matt Moran’s restaurants are supporting the Thankful4Farmers initiative by encouraging diners to order an ‘Empty Plate’ that will go directly towards supporting Australian farming and agricultural communities. Alongside the newly launched summer menus at Matt Moran’s participating restaurants, diners can purchase an empty entrée plate for just $5 or a main plate for $10, with every dollar being donated to Thankful4Farmers.

As a fourth generation farmer and pioneer of the ‘paddock to plate’ philosophy in Australia, Moran was announced as the official ambassador when Thankful4Farmers launched earlier this year. Introduced to celebrate the important and significant contribution of farmers and agriculture to both the economy and culture of Australia, Thankful4Farmers aims to ignite a local and global conversation to amplify awareness and generate ongoing sustainable funding that will endeavour to create transformational impact in regional and rural communities.

Participating venues include Aria Sydney, Bea at Barangaroo House, Chiswick Woollahra, Chiswick at the Gallery, Chophouse Sydney and North Bondi Fish. Thankful4Farmers ‘Empty Plates’ are available for purchase in all venues now.
