Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is a multi-disciplinary cultural hub that aims to make the arts accessible to everyone! These spring school holidays, they are bringing affordable, family-friendly theatre to the centre with their production of Holiday Island.

Escape to a Holiday Island at the Powerhouse Theatre

In Holiday Island, you will feel transported to a place built from scraps of memory, hidden inside a pile of suitcases! When a clown yearns for a summer getaway, takes matters into her own hands and decides to create it herself, building an imaginary world of play, relaxation and togetherness, with nine colourful suitcases in tow, all completely indoors!

Like a silent film, driven by a nostalgic soundtrack, audiences are treated to an uplifting and perfectly silly beach adventure, packed with imagination and humour. 

For the budding performers out there, this engaging and entertaining one-woman show also invites eager audience members up on stage to participate in the adventure.
