Chatswood Nights Light Art Installations
Let there be light! The Chatswood Nights festival will be illuminating the north shore precinct throughout winter with a series of bright artworks.
A MarZoopials installation is bringing bold light and colour to The Concourse! A menagerie of Australian animals have been reillagined as light art work by Sydney-based artist Zara Pasfield. The large, luminous creatures will light up each night to transform the urban space into a surreal nature scape. Over three weeks from Friday 18 June 2021 to Saturday 10 July, playful koalas, cheeky cockatoos and curious kangaroos will create a playful, interactive experience, in celebration of our unique and enduring native wildlife.
A series of vibrant projections will also flood the exterior of The Concourse with mesmerising light art in changing shapes, colours and patterns. The iconic roof will come to life as a dynamic canvas for a diverse, changing series of projection artwork nightly from 6pm to11pm.
Willoughby Symphony Orchestra will play live music on the grass every Friday afternoon.
