City Of Sydney: Winter Intensive Learn to Swim

All City of Sydney pools and fitness centres will close temporarily as per the mandated NSW Health stay-at-home order. This includes Cook + Phillip Park Pool, Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Prince Alfred Park Pool and Victoria Park Pool.

Would you like to give your kids swimming a head start for next summer? If so, grab a spot in the City of Sydney's quality and affordable winter school holiday fast-track program in their heated indoor pools.  The school holiday intensives follow the City of Sydney's GOswim swimming and water-safety program and include one 30 minute private lesson per day (Monday - Friday) with the fifth lesson FREE! 

School Holiday Intensives

This program is an excellent way to accelerate the development of your child's skills. The Swim teachers plan fun, challenging and educational lessons, with a program that includes:

• Starts – Work on components of the dive ensuring nice streamline position on entry and be ready for the school carnival season.
• Turns & Finishes – Cover all turns and finishes including an individual medley.
• Stroke Specific – Key fundamentals of specific strokes. Extra focus on areas such as kick, breathing or arms that will improve technique and proficiency.
