Educational activities
The Living Reef Education Centre has 8 living displays showcasing various habitats from mangroves to corals, a theatrette and an interactive touch pool. Attend a talk and tour in the Underwater Observatory or take a tour of their coral propagation program, organised by their marine biologists.  

Watersports
With an array of activities on offer across the island each day, you are sure to experience the luxury of diving into a snorkelling adventure or exploring the island and surrounding Great Barrier Reef Marine Park by helicopter, sailboat, or jet ski.

Kids Club

Getting to Daydream Island

The Whitsundays are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island Airport) on Hamilton Island and Whitsundays Coast Airport (Proserpine Airport) on the mainland at Proserpine, with direct services from Sydney. The flight is 2 hours and 25 minutes, followed by a ferry transfer to Daydream Island. If you have time for a longer commute, you can also travel to Queensland by train or car.
