Family Charity Event: Run2Cure For Neuroblastoma

There's family fun for all ages at this year’s Run2Cure in The Domain on Sunday 2 June in support Neuroblastoma children's cancer.

More than just a run – enjoy an entire morning of entertainment and activities! You can run, walk or just get out and about with the kids and enjoy the festivities of the day.

This year Run2Cure will include four different events – timed 10km, 5km and 3km runs and a 1km Little Heroes event for young children, who are encouraged to dress up as superheroes.

The kids will be thoroughly entertained by a raft of fun kids activities and live performances taking place from 8.30am until 1pm.  The Taronga Zoomobile, a huge rock climbing wall, face painting, pony rides, jumping castles and Little Kickers soccer zone are among the exciting options. On the stage popular performers the Jitterbugs will get the children on their feet. Kiki and Pascal, will ensure everyone has a smile on their face with their fun juggling and acrobatics, while adults and kids alike will enjoy the uplifting sounds of Caribbean band Errol H. Renaud.

Neuroblastoma typically affects babies and small children and only half of those diagnosed with the aggressive form will survive. This is something charity Neuroblastoma Australia aims to change and funds from the Run2Cure go a long way towards reaching that goal.
