This year, Canberra’s much-loved celebration of spring will be delivered in a whole new way. Floriade, the capital's annual flower fest, is moving from its traditional home in Commonwealth Park to bloom across Canberra. Floriade: Reimagined will showcase a mix of virtual and in-person experiences to as the city's stunning flora blooms to life.
Floriade Bloom brings the one million bulbs and annuals out of Commonwealth Park to create a tulip trail across the ACT’s suburbs and city, featuring plantings by the Floriade horticulture team and over 90 Canberra community groups.
Floriade Life features workshops, talks and events including heritage tours, photography classes and weekly Sunday Sessions, and Floriade Sprouts has loads of fun activities for young fans including a gnome hunt and a special 4-part on-demand video series hosted by The Beanies to inspire a love of gardening with craft and activities. Floriade’s after-dark experience, NightFest, will also return for one night only.
