Free Community Yoga - New Year, New You

Free weekly yoga classes will be provided to Manly and Northern Beaches residents, providing greater access to the popular mind and body practice.

The one-hour classes will be hosted each Friday from 15 February, and will suit all levels—from beginners to advanced. The aim is to instill a greater sense of health and wellness to residents’ lives.

I look forward to introducing yoga to more people in our local community,” says Simone Larmer, who will teach the classes at the Community Northern Beaches centre in Manly. “There are many benefits from practicing yoga regularly and these include improving our physical strength, flexibility and posture as well as calming the mind through movement, breathing and meditation.”

Yoga is ideal for anyone who suffers the effects of our fast-paced world, is experiencing loneliness or disillusionment, or who simply needs a little me-time. Everyone is welcome to attend.
