Attention all stargazers! Sydney's most dazzling astronomy event is back and you're invited to grab a front-row seat to this epic cosmic journey at Macquarie University's Astronomy Open Night.

Prepare to be delighted and amazed by Macquarie University's beloved Physics Magic Shows, let your imagination soar as you witness the breathtaking beauty of star formation in distant galaxies during immersive Planetarium Sessions and be captivated as renowned Macquarie academics and experts deliver a series of engaging short talks.

There really is something for kids of all ages! The little ones and early primary explorers will have a blast in the Kids' Space, a vibrant area filled with mini-experiments and fun scientific activities. Meanwhile, older adventurers can take control of interactive robots and dive into the exciting world of interstellar gaming at the Cosmic Arcade.

Don't miss the 'The Immersive Power of Light' exhibition at Macquarie Art Gallery and join the new astronomy photography competition, or vote for the ' People's Choice' best night sky image. Plus, visit Macquarie University’s Astronomical Observatory and Telescope Park to behold stars and planets up close!

Rain, hail or shine, Astronomy Open Night will shine bright so prepare to be immersed in an astronomical experience that is out of this world.

Please note: Bookings are essential. All tickets must be pre-purchased, there will be no ticket sales on the night.
