A Chatswood Culture Bites Production present Willoughby Symphony in the Park

Experience stunning music from opera and Broadway when Guy Noble conducts the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra in highlights from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, Verdi’s Rigoletto and more.

Leading Australian soprano Julie Lea Goodwin enchants with exquisite music by Puccini and Dvořák and don’t miss star Australian tenor Mark Vincent singing Verdi’s famous La donna è mobile or the show-stopping aria Nessun Dorma.

Featuring classical hits from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances and Bizet’s Carmen, this unforgettable concert comes to a champagne-popping climax with the rousing Brindisi from Verdi’s La traviata.

When to arrive

We recommend arriving from 12pm, when a selection of Sydney’s coolest food trucks will start serving delicious lunch and snack options. The pop up bar by Finders Distillery, the North Shore’s newest craft distillery will also be open from 12pm selling handcrafted spirits, cocktails and beer. The performance will begin at 2pm so get there early to secure your spot!

What to bring

Bring a picnic rug or folding chairs to relax on the grass for a captivating afternoon of classical music. There will also be a limited number of comfortable bean bags to relax into around the Finders Distillery pop up bar if you prefer to pack light!

There will be plenty of food and drink available to purchase but you are welcome to bring your own, including alcohol.

Please note that no bring your own alcohol can be brought inside the Finders Distillery licensed area, but food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome. This is a family friendly area, so kids are welcome too. Arrive early to secure a spot.

Don’t forget to rug-up against the winter chill!

Kick back with a delicious drink courtesy of the pop up bar by Finders Distillery, the North Shore’s newest craft distillery creating unique handcrafted spirits.

Tasty food options will also be available from some of Sydney’s coolest food trucks selling meals from around the globe including The Pharaoh BBQ, Fritz’s Weiners, Greek food from Lamda Sydney and Salvadorian Cuisine from Raza Central. Mr Creamy will also be onsite serving milkshakes, ice cream and coffee.
