Drama workshop: ‘Edward the Emu’ with Monkey Baa Theatre Company
Your 5 - 8 year olds will love this 2 hour theatre-making experience as they are taken on a journey of identity, self-belief and belonging through the eyes of Edward the emu.
When: 6 & 7 July: 10:30am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Early Birds: Autism and Sensory Friendly Mornings
Access Mornings provide a reduced sensory, relaxed and supportive environment prior to the Museum opening to the public for the day. This can make visiting the Museum easier for visitors on the autism spectrum or those who have other access requirements, together with their family and friends.

Scientist for a Day: Archaeologist (sold out)
Book your 8-12 year old in to learn about the world's oldest living creatures in this full day workshop for budding archaeologists.
In this full-day workshop, First Nations staff will share evidence of how Aboriginal people lived, used resources and adapted to environmental change and how this knowledge could help us make a better tomorrow. Including hands-on archaeological research experiments, a tour of the First Nations Galleries, activities, games and more, your kids will love this full day workshop.
When: 29 & 30 June: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Cost: $100 per child (Members), $125 per child (non-Members)

Unsettled exhibition tours
Unsettled provides visitors direct access to the stories and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people during the time since European arrival.
When: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am and 1pm or Thursday nights, 10 - 30 June at 6pm or 7:30pm.
