Addison Road Organic Markets (Sundays)

Summer might be dubbed the festival season, but there’s a hidden gem in Sydney’s inner west that is keeping the vibe alive all year round. The Addison Road Organic Markets packs so much into this buzzing, family-friendly weekly event. Grab your Sunday morning coffee, catch some live music, get a haircut, do your grocery shopping, get the kids a pony ride, browse through bric-a-brac… yes, it’s all here!

The Addison Rd Organic Markets are a mecca for hungry locals craving the best brekkie roll in Sydney and some amazing organic produce to stock the fridge for the week.

It’s great for kids too, with a jumping castle, pony rides and face painting for the ankle-biters.

The markets are on every Sunday and are located in the grounds of Addison Rd Community Centre, Australia’s largest not-for-profit community centre, so you can combine your visit with a visit to the Art Gallery at the front of the Centre  and a browse through the range of recycled and reused materials available at Reverse Garbage and The Bower.

We always leave with armfuls of craft supplies - and its a great way to start a conversation with your kids about environmental awareness and creativity .
