Manly Beach

Manly Beach is the most famous of the Northern Beaches and its charm is undeniable. The surf itself can be treacherous with big waves and rips but it is patrolled and the pine tree lined beach and its close proximity to great restaurants, shopping and cafes make this a great spot for a family day out. It’s a lovely place for kids to splash around in the shallows or they can take a dip in the harbour pool.

There’s a great long beachfront promenade that is perfect spot for little cyclists or rollerbladers tohave a go without worrying about crashing into pedestrians. There are toilets, showers, kiosk, shade and picnic areas and there’s a playground just 5 minutes away.
