Spring & Summer Fruit Picking - September to February
TNT Produce
TNT Produce are open during the spring and summer months for fruit picking, including apples, peaches, nectarines, plums, strawberries, tomatoes, figs, sunflowers, zucchinis, figs, tomatoes, and Lebanese cucumbers.
The family orchard comes alive with thousands of trees for you to pick delicious fruits. Visit the alpacas, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ducks on the farm, and stop by the shed to pick up free-range eggs, local nuts, homemade jams, Bilpin apple juice, and honey! Open 10 am to 4 pm on weekends, public holidays, and some school holidays.

Watkins Family Farm
The Watkins Family Farm is still in full fruit-bearing mode come September when they see the last of their fresh Imperial mandarins, lemons, cumquats, and limes hanging on the trees.
They are open every weekend until the end of September.

Pine Crest Orchard
When spring and summer roll around, it's time for crunch, juicy apple picking! Pick your own apples and peaches at Pine Crest Orchard from November to April. Gala, Jonathans, Delicious, Golden Delicious and Jonagold are the main varieties, followed by Granny Smith, Braeburn, and Pink Lady. Pine Crest are also known for their amazing cherries - just in time for Christmas!

While cherries are the main attraction, the orchard also offers a range of other delights. Guests can treat themselves to freshly churned ice-cream, delectable homemade jams, local honey, refreshing cider and drinks, and a variety of baked goods, including some new recipes the orchard has been perfecting. The team at Pine Crest Orchard looks forward to welcoming both new and returning visitors to this seasonal delight.

Bilpin Fruit Bowl
For fresh apple picking in Sydney along with loads of other fresh fruits, you can't go past the iconic Bilpin Fruit Bowl.
Bilpin Fruit Bowl is open seven days a week from 8 am to 5 pm for strawberries, royal gala apples (during season), spinach, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, capsicum, and potatoes.

Apple picking has finished until 2025 but strawberry picking season is set to kick off at Bilpin Fruit Bowl in December 2024.
As well as pick your own, the shop stocks local honey, local homemade jams, souvenirs, cider from local cellar doors, apple juice, candles, pottery, fresh fruit, and more.

Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries
In the mood for some fresher-than-fresh tomatoes or strawberries? Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries is just the farm for, you guessed it, strawberries and tomatoes!
Brimming with deliciously ripe and moreish fruit, Ricardoes promises a great day out for families. Open seven days a week from 7 am - 5 pm.

Canoelands Orchard
When spring rolls around, it's time to load up on popular stone fruits, strawberries, raspberries, apples, tomatoes and more.
Canoelands Orchard is open all season long and delights in watching families pick their own blood plums, candy plums, white nectarines and yellow nectarines. They are open from 9 am to 5 pm every day except Christmas Day.

Huntley Berry Farm
If you're planning a holiday in Orange, you'd better add fruit picking to your itinerary!
Huntley Berry Farm specialise in berries, so stop off and load up your baskets with strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
As well as plenty of berries, there is also a picnic area, a shop selling berry ice blocks, gourmet jams and fruit syrups, plus free-range chooks to say hello to. Their fruit-picking season begins mid-November, so start planning your getaway to Orange! Open Thursday to Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Berrylicious
Another great spot for strawberries is at Berrylicious, where they grow theirs from inside a greenhouse.
Berrylicious strawberries are grown in greenhouses two metres above the ground to help eliminate pests and bacteria - talk about fresh fruit!
Strawberry picking is officially underway as of September 2024! Due to the popularity of these events, tickets are limited, and online bookings are essential to secure your spot. To make your reservation, visit their Facebook page to see individual events.
For the convenience of visitors, the strawberry patches are covered, ensuring a pleasant picking experience regardless of the weather. Guests are welcome to eat as many strawberries as they desire during their visit, priced at $22 per person. Children under ten years old are charged at a reduced rate of $11, while those under two years old can enjoy the experience free of charge. If you wish to take strawberries home, they are priced at $25 per kilo.

Cedar Creek Orchards
Welcome to Cedar Creek Orchards - take your pick of some of the freshest apples, yellow peaches, white peaches, and nectarines around! Their shed sales are open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Glenbernie Orchard
Glenbernie Orchard is a fifth-generation, family-run fruit farm just 30 kilometres north of Wollongong. They call their fruit-picking station the 'Apple Shack' and it's open for delicious apples, peaches, plums, nectarines, and raspberries seven days a week from 10 am to 4.30 pm. To pick, you need to book an Orchard Experience Tour.

Clyde River Farm
Nothing tastes better than berries picked fresh in the height of summer with your own hands!
Clyde River Berry Farm are primarily growers of blueberries, but you might find strawberries, raspberries and other berries, too. Open every day from 10 am to 5 pm until the end of January. Closed on Christmas day.

Stockman's Ridge
Put a cherry on top of a fantastic summer by stopping off for cherry picking at Stockman's Ridge! You pick your own cherries (and have a glass of wine or two!) at this cellar door and fruit farm.

Bilpin Springs Orchard
Fresh pears, apples, peaches, and blueberries are the pick of the day at Bilpin Springs Orchard in the Blue Mountains.
Although it might be small, Bilpin Springs Orchard welcomes in loads of families keen to fill their baskets with summer fruits throughout the season. The farm is open on weekends from 7 am to 1 pm.
Season: The Bilpin Springs 2024 season is officially finished. Check back again in 2025.

TNT produce is one of the most popular fruit picking farms in NSW. Kookootonga Chestnut & Walnut Farm
Walnuts and chestnuts are't fruit, are they? Yes, they are! Both of these nuts are actually part of the fruit family and many believe them to be dried fruits - who would've thought!
Stop off at Kookootonga Chestnut & Walnut Farm for fresh chestnuts and walnuts from March to April. Kookootonga is one of the original farms to be established in the gorgeous region of Mount Irvine in the Blue Mountains and is open from 9 am to 4 pm each day during their autumn fruit picking season.

Berrylicious
You know you can't resist picking your own strawberries! Well, we've found strawberry-picking with a difference at Berrylicious.
Berrylicious Strawberries grow their delicious berries in greenhouses with the strawberries thriving inside tunnels elevated two metres off the ground! This process is believed to eliminate pests and bacteria, resulting in great big juicy strawberries ripe for the picking - or picking up, to be exact.
Season: All year round

Nutwood Farm
Another beautiful spot for nut-picking, Nutwood Farm is open for chestnuts and walnuts on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm during the season.
An established 20-hectare nut orchard on the edge of Wollangambee National Park, Nutwood Farm offers large, good quality, fresh chestnuts, and walnuts for the whole family.

Ford's Farm
Enjoy a family day out at the gorgeous Ford's Farm and delight in picking your own mandarins, limes and oranges.
There is a picnic area set aside for you to sit and enjoy the quiet bush surroundings or take a stroll through the orchard to feed the sheep. Bookings are essential.

Wyunna Farms
Just over an hour from the CBD, Wyunna Farms is one of the closest farms for fruit picking in Sydney.
Their winter season only runs for just over a month, so you'd better get in quick for some of the biggest and juiciest navel and Valencia oranges around.
They're open from 9.30 am to pm every Saturday and Sunday throughout July.

Watkins Family Farm
The Watkins Family Farm is situated in a beautiful mountain valley setting and has over 2,000 fruit trees offering up juicy Imperial mandarins, lemons, cumquats, and limes during winter.
They are open every weekend from June until the season ends (around the end of September).

Anderson Farm
Enjoy a day out along the picturesque Hawkesbury River and stock up on juicy mandarins, oranges, and lemons from Anderson Farm.
Although their winter fruit picking season only runs for a couple of months, rest assured it packs a punch with loads of zesty citrus varieties on offer.
The farm is open from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and it's cash only for all purchases.
Season: June - July
