2. Federation Square

There's plenty to celebrate at Federation Square this Christmas, with a glittering Christmas wonderland featuring the Christmas Tree, Santa’s Workshop, the Fed Christmas Gulls and more!

The big Man in Red will also be in attendance for your 2022 Christmas close-up. Santa's Workshop at Federation Square offers some of the best Santa photos in Melbourne, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

3. Westfield 

When it comes to Santa photos in Melbourne, destinations don't come much easier than Westfield. With so many locations across the city and the suburbs, Westfield is a great hub to suss out your Santa selfies for 2023. Participating Westfields usually include Doncaster, Geelong, Knox, Southland, and Fountain Gate.

Another joy-filled offering from Westfield this year is the return of their Auslan Santa. Launched as a pilot program in 2022 in collaboration with Deaf Australia, Auslan Santa offers children who use Auslan as their primary form of communication the opportunity to meet and sign with a Santa who is just like them.
