Luna Park Melbourne❜s Hot Dog Day

As part of July's International Hot Dog Month (who knew?!), Luna Park will be hosting a fun day with rides, music and entertainment, including the Luna Park Hot Dog Eating Competition!

Billy Boyd founder of Australian Competitive Eaters will introduce the competitors and chant the crowd into a food frenzy!

Each Winner will receive $500 cash, A Luna Park Annual Pass, and a Top Dog Trophy.

Winners of the Audience Challenges will also be awarded prizes. Come along, you’d be a silly sausage to miss out!

Billy Boyd founder of Australian Competitive Eaters will introduce the competitors and chant the crowd into a food frenzy! First Aid will be on hand for any hot dog related emergencies – as will buckets. All potential champions must register for entry into the competition by 13th July.

Competitors will be divided into male and female groups of 10 and have just 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs and their buns as possible.

Get yourself down to Luna Park to enjoy the seaside breezes and picturesque views overlooking the famous Port Phillip Bay. Luna Park favourites, the Dodgem Cars and the traditional Carousel, prove why the park is still a much-loved attraction for so many Melbournians and tourists alike.
