All aboard the Nurragingy Miniature Railway! Blacktown City's favourite family attraction is the perfect day out for train enthusiasts of all ages. 

Discover the Nurragingy Miniature Railway

Nestled in the bushland of Nurragingy Reserve, between Currawong and Cockatoo Picnic Areas, the railway is open to the public on select Sundays every month, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Having recently opened after a renovation, the Nurragingy Railway is riding again with gusto! The latest additions include a 300-metre track extension and supporting structures and buildings, which include a train station, ticket booth, signal box, carriage storage shed and steaming bays.

Mayor Tony Bleasdale OAM said the project wouldn't have been possible without the dedicated efforts of many volunteers.

"The Nurragingy Miniature Railway has been a labour of love for many volunteers over the past seven years," Mayor Bleasdale said.  "Together, they have built a fabulous new attraction for people of all ages in Blacktown City and beyond."

So, bring your family and friends and hop on the train for a ride through the bushland. This is a fun and educational attraction that everyone in the community can enjoy.
