Frida Kahlo: The Life Of An Icon Exhibition

Art enthusiasts, get set to behold one of this summer's most striking multi-sensory events, A huge immersive exhibition showcasing the work of the brilliant and iconic Mexican painter Frida Kahlo will be making its Australian debut at the Sydney Festival in January 2023. 

With a soundtrack of traditional Mexican music and live performances, Frida Kahlo: The Life Of An Icon will unleash vibrant illuminations showcasing the colourful self-portraits and unique personality of this beloved painter.

A series of transformational spaces will transform The Cutaway with stunning 360º projections, virtual reality installations, dazzling holography and of historical photographs and films. Be completely transported on a surreal journey through the life and legacy of one of the world's most influential and enduring artists.

Inspired by Kahlo's creativity, you can also create your own Frida-esque masterpieces with flower crown-making and a drawing station, plus you will have the opportunity to immortalise yourself in a souvenir illustrated photo.

The Sydney-exclusive exhibition will only be in town for a limited season so book early!
