North Sydney Parents, Have Your Say!

Calling all North Sydney parents! It’s time to have your say on what you’d like to see in North Sydney’s future - for you and your family.    

North Sydney Council is asking for your feedback on all aspects of our future and everyone who completes one of the surveys will go into the draw to win a weekly $100 gift voucher*.   

They’re specifically seeking input on the five focus areas of Culture and Creativity, Open Space and Recreation, Social Inclusion, Integrated Transport and Economic Development. Have your say on everything from sustainable ways your children could travel to school, what kind of sports opportunities you’d like to see, and how to nurture belonging in the community for young people of all ages.    

Mayor Zoë Baker and CEO Therese Cole recently facilitated North Sydney’s first Voice of Youth workshops to hear from local school students on these key community issues. The students’ perspectives were incredibly valuable with refreshing insights that will help shape North Sydney's future plans - and now we want to hear from local parents about what you would like the next ten years to look like for you and your family.    

Our children are the future of North Sydney, and we need your input to know exactly what they need and want their future to look like. We want to hear it all - from what community festivals we should offer to cater to your family’s needs, to what investments are required to continue building vibrant town centres, to how we can encourage you and your family to walk and cycle more often.

* T&Cs apply. Everyone who provides feedback via North Sydney Council’s online surveys has the option to go into a prize draw to win a weekly $100 gift voucher. There are 4 x $100 gift vouchers available in total. The winners will be drawn at random each week from Tuesday 4 – Tuesday 25 June inclusive and announced the same day.
