Get ready to feast your eyes on the largest Christmas lights display in the Southern Hemisphere for 12 weeks throughout the festive season and summer school holidays.

Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular is famous for its enchanting and luminous Christmas lights installations, with a whopping 4 million little lights creating a sparkling wonderland for families to explore. The whole family will be awestruck by this brilliant event as you stroll through the immaculate themed gardens aglow with illuminated light displays, plus an amazing lineup of roving entertainment, stage performances, exciting amusement rides, and a delicious range of food and drinks.

Amazing Amusement Rides

Take in the magnificent view of Hunter Valley Gardens and the surrounding countryside from the 25-metre-high Ferris Wheel, fly 11 metres above the ground on the Swing Chair or dash 35 metres down the Superslide!  You can also keep your feet on the ground on the Venetian Carousel and Tea Cup ride - perfect for the youngest thrill-seekers. 

This year, the Christmas Lights Spectacular has more photo opportunities than ever across the gardens, including a brand new 13-metre-tall Christmas tree and giant Mr & Mrs Claus installations at the Big Red Chair. There are also themed event zones, including Rocking Reindeers, Toyland, Festive Shores, Up Up & Away, Candyland, Fairyland, 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland, and Christmas World.

To cap off all the fun, families can also take a picture with Santa Claus until 24 December at an additional cost.
