IKEA Festival: FREE Workshops, Events and Kid❜s Activities

IKEA started early with spring fever and launched an Australia-wide festival bursting with free live workshops, events and kid-friendly activities.

So Much to Unpack at the IKEA Festival

From now until 10 September, IKEA Festival will be celebrating the joys of life at home, showcasing creativity and inventiveness online, in an Australia-first live shopping event, and in-store across the country. The festival theme ‘From Dreaming to Doing’, is designed to inspire everyone to follow their passion and get creative at home.

There are loads of ways to join the house party with kid's treasure hunts, craft classes and trolley-loads of activities for the parents including interior designer speed dating, live cooking demonstrations, indoor plant workshops, IKEA expert talks, Swedish food taste testing and IKEA-inspired manicures.

And the winner is... Sydney!

The harbour city has been chosen as an iconic host city for the IKEA Festival alongside New York, Stockholm, Tokyo and Paris. On 3 September 3, IKEA will broadcast live from Sydney giving viewers across the globe a glimpse into our uniquely Australian life and there will be live music on Sydney Harbour.

All Aussie stores will host special free events for customers on 3 September, including live music in room sets, product talks and demonstrations and food taste testing.
