Experience Sydney's most vibrant and culturally diverse event, Ramadan Nights Lakemba! Recognised as an event of state significance, this month-long global food bazaar attracts over 1.2 million people and will be held from Saturday 9 March to Monday 8 April 2024.

From dusk until 3 am every night, enjoy an array of street food vendors and more than 60 food stalls, where you can break your fast, try new foods and experience the rich culture and traditions of Ramadan. With an atmosphere like no other, make sure you don't miss out on this spectacular event!

Due to the high attendance, it is best to visit on a night between Monday-Thursday when the crowds are smallest. There will be free shuttle buses operating from 6.30 pm to 12.30 am, Thursday through to Sunday from Saturday 9 March - Monday 8 April. Alternatively, catch public transport, as parking is very limited.

Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year in Islamic culture, where people of Muslim faith fast during daylight hours from dawn to sunset. At the end of each day’s fast, Muslims gather for Iftar, the evening meal to break their fast.
