Summer School Holiday Activities at the Australian National Maritime Museum

Summer at the Sea Museum brings the waterfront and galleries alive with play, discovery and fun for kids of all ages. The creative-packed summer program includes new exhibitions, experiences, and performances with all your favourite school holiday activities.

Explore the newest exhibitions including James Cameron – Challenging the Deep, Ocean Photographer of the Year and Ultimate Depth – A Journey to the Bottom of the Sea.

• Climb on board the Museum’s fleet of VESSELS

• Build an underwater LEGO® city in BRICKTROPOLIS 

• Explore SUPERLUMINAL a magical journey through light and time

• Get hands-on with creative artmaking in the KIDS ON DECK maker space

• Explore touchable objects and specimens at the CABINET OF CURIOSITIES 

• Catch a demonstration of ROPE MAKING
• Dress up and dance in our DEEP SEA DISCO every Monday in January 

• Adventure on the MUSEUM TREASURE TRAIL

• Catch our ROVING PERFORMERS  as they travel around the Museum 
• Plus MINI MARINERS, UNDERWATER DRONES, CREATIVE WORKSHOPS and more!
