Blacktown Libraries

Blacktown City Council has five libraries available within the Local Government Area (LGA). All library facilities are equipped to help you print, photocopy or scan documents, access Wi-Fi and provide you access to use a computer. Our libraries are not just about books—they're vibrant havens for families and offer a variety of study and quiet reading areas. Unique Offerings at Each Blacktown Library

 Max Webber Library

This library is Blacktown City Council's largest library, built in 2005 the library spans over two levels and delivers a large collection of reading material. This facility includes designated areas for quiet study, reading and an interactive children’s area. This facility also includes the Max Webber Function Centre which is a hireable function room.

This library is located outside of the Westpoint shopping centre (level 3) and has undercover onsite parking available, entry via Alpha St. 

Our Library @ The Mount Druitt Hub

Mt Druitt Library is a single-level library and provides access to a large collection of items.  This facility includes a designated children’s section, study and quiet reading areas. The Mount Druitt Hub is located in the centre of Dawson Mall. Parking is available at the rear of the library.

Dennis Johnson Library

Dennis Johnson Library is a single-level library that provides access to a large collection of items and includes a hireable function room. This facility includes a designated children’s section, study and quiet reading areas. The Dennis Johnson Library is located in the Stanhope Gardens Leisure Centre, parking is available.

 Riverstone Library & Digital Hub

Riverstone Library is a single-level library and provides access to a small collection of items. This facility includes a children’s section and a small area for study. Riverstone library is located on Level 1 of the Riverstone Village Shopping Centre and parking is available.

Lalor Park Library

Lalor Park Library is a single-level library and provides access to a small collection of items. This facility includes a children’s section and a small area for study. Lalor Park Library is located in Chifley Park and near the local shopping centre with parking available.

Mobile Library

Blacktown City Council Library now has its very own Mobile Library! The Mobile Library visits a variety of convenient locations including train stations and community spaces. Check out hours and locations on the website.
