Strathfield Council’s Cooks River Fun Run

Tighten your laces runners! If you’re looking for an active family-friendly event, why not register everyone for the Strathfield Cooks River Fun Run, which is returning for its 9th year on Sunday 24 June 2018.

Get racing for early bird entry prices and take part in this energetic family event that showcases the Bay to Bay Cycleway from Freshwater Park to Ford Park. The Cooks River Fun Run is a great way to have fun with the family whilst being active. The 2km kids run is perfect for families and small children, and future Olympians can join the 5km or 10km runs! The 10km relay option is also perfect for families to work together and form a team.

$5 from each entry will be donated to Bowel Cancer Australia to assist with research and awareness and the ‘big bowel’ will be on site providing information on the importance of protecting your bowels.

A healthy eating station, jumping castle and soccer activation will be on site to keep kids happy and active throughout the event.

Registrations are essential. Early Bird prices end 9 June 2018. Free shuttle bus will be operating from Strathfield Train Station.
