NYC Restaurant Lets You Make Ice Cream At The Table!

I scream, you scream! We just heard about a restaurant in New York that lets kids makes their own ice cream at the table – and we can’t wait for this super family friendly concept to come to Sydney!

CoolMess is an ice cream parlour in Manhattan’s Upper East Side where you enter through a door crossed with a pink velvet rope into a children’s paradise: vintage style neon signs and decorative sprinkles covering the walls, and treats galore with buckets of Nutella and and candy jars as far as the eye can see.

Choose Your Own Flavours and Toppings

Each table has its own ice cream maker where families can choose their liquid base- vanilla or chocolate. Decisions, decisions! You can then bring it to life with add-ins like cookie dough or gummy bears before it sets and then you can enjoy your delicious creation. And it only takes about 8 minutes!

As if that weren’t delicious enough, there’s also an extensive list of pre-made ice cream goodies like Banana splits and gourmet sundaes, with an overwhelming list of toppings to choose from. CoolMess has a super prime location on top of Burger Heaven, and is very popular for kids birthday parties.
